The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support position designed for intervention activities a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
